Hello and welcome to my Stock Trading Mum website.

Firstly, a little about me. Yes I am a mum to three active boys, aged 16, 14, and 11. My middle boy is special needs and attends a special school.  Apart from wanting to be home with the boys I also found there was no after school care available for special needs children and besides who was going to care for three boys during school holidays. Constantly asking family and friends just didn’t seem to be a comfortable fit for me.  Working from home was the obvious solution.

Prior to having the boys I worked in the Corporate sector and come from  a strong finance background. I had always had an interest in the Stock Market but didn’t know anyone who was an active trader that could  give me some guidance and advice.  So I decided to start educating myself.

While searching the internet I came across a variety of great educational material, and of course some not so good.

I have been trading the Australian Stock Market for four years now, the US Market for approximately three years and the German Dax for the last twelve months, and yes of course there have been both winning and loosing trades.

My main intention for starting this site is to encourage other stay at home mums and also to show them that it is possible to earn an income from home, you just need to find your passion and interest.
